Introduction:
Kulmiye Relief and development organization (KULMIYE ORG) is a nongovernmental
organization, works voluntarily for humanitarian and a non profit seeking Org. which was
established in 2010 and based in Herardhere district. The organization is entitled to operate in
South and Central Somalia, but currently the organization is based in the capital city of Somalia – MOGADISHU as it grew wider, KULMIYE ORG is prepared to deal with a variety of activities,
from emergence relief to development issues. In order to obtain organizational goals

and fulfill all humanitarian assistance activities systematically and accountable to Somali communities
who are mostly affected by prolonged civil war and natural disasters like droughts,
and also to the satisfaction of the organization’s donors, KULMIYE ORG established a set of
effective operational frame work as a charter which illustrates an elaborated organizational
structure with transparency and accountability

To initiate and implement together with local communities, programmers and interventions aimed
at empowering communities to participate in decision making and to seek solutions to end
poverty, conflict, vulnerability and austerity.

Kulmiye Development Organization has done
various programs that have been done by the community,including the production of different crops such as vegetables and fodder. clean water and asset creation to fight famine and support small vegetable businesses by providing them with job training
